About KW Infant Massage
The purpose of Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and communication so that parents, caregivers and children feel loved, valued and respected throughout the community. -IAIM's Mission
KW Infant massage is a 5 week program with an instructor trained and certified through the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). Throughout the 5 weeks this program will provide you with a safe space to bond and learn with your baby, creating and strengthening an everlasting attachment. During the Infant Massage Classes parents will learn about massaging strokes, oils, touch, infant brain development, behavioural states, baby cries, cues and reflexes, the benefits of infant massage, the importance of and elements of bonding, the history of infant massage, gas and colic routines, as well as adaptations for older children. Each class will leave you feeling empowered and confident as a parent to nurture, bond, and understand your baby.
This program is suitable for caregivers and their baby from 0-12months of age.
